Victorian Sterling Silver Rock Quartz Teardrop Earrings
Striking rock quartz crystal earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each of these fantastic earring begins with a single round rock quartz crystal bead topper which attaches to a sterling silver earring wire. Dangling from the crystal surmount is a teardrop-shaped rock quartz crystal. Both the topper and the teardrop are encased by symmetrical, sterling silver wirework which carries around the 4 sides of the crystals. The rock quartz catches the light beautifully and the earrings look wonderful on! The earrings could be worn day or night, and would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs a little more than 2 1/4" long and is slightly less than 3/8” wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the crystals or to the sterling setting or wires.
