Vintage 18kt 5 Strand Gucci Link Collar Necklace

An absolutely stunning Vintage gold link collar necklace from the 1970's or '80's! This wonderful, bold piece is made of 18kt yellow gold and has 5 layered strands of "Gucci link" chains. The chains have oval links that connect to one another through two holes in the center of each. To allow the necklace to curve easily around your neck, there are connector bars that rest towards the ends of the necklace. The necklace clasps at the back of the neck with a hooked bar clasp which is marked "MNJ 750". The gold chains lay beautifully on the neck and have a striking look when worn. It's a bold, statement piece and would look fabulous worn for a dressy occasion or simply as a fun vintage piece!

Measurements: The longest strand of chain is approximately 23" long, the 3 middle strands measure 21.25" long, 20" long and 18.75" long and the shortest strand is 17" long. The necklace weighs 255.5 grams and 164.3 dwt.

Condition: The overall condition of the chain necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold chain and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
