Vintage Christian Dior Gemstone Earring & Pin Set

A lovely vintage Christian Dior pin and earring set from ca1960’s! This wonderful set is comprised of a pair of earrings and a complimentary pin. All three pieces display a similar, matching cluster design. At the center of each clip-on earring is a chrysoprase stone, carved to portray a scarab beetle. The scarab has vibrant green coloring and is surrounded by 8 additional gemstones, all of which vary in size and color.  Among the outer stones are 2 other scarabs, one lapis and one chalcedony. All of the stones are prong set within the mounting. The pin portrays a complementary design of chrysoprase, lapis, and chalcedony stones. On the back of the pin is a secure pin clasp. The back of one of the clip-on earrings is stamped “19”, “Chr.Dior”, “65”, and “GERMANY”. Each piece is simply lovely and would make a great addition to any collection.

Measurements: The pin measures 2 1/4" long, slightly more than 1 1/8” at its widest point, and 1/4" at the deepest point. Each earring has a diameter of about 1” and is 1/4" deep.

Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mounting and all of the stones are intact. The earring clips and pin clasp are secure and in good working condition.
