Vintage Japanese '7 Lucky Gods' Painted Porcelain Bracelet
Fabulous and fun Japanese artistry! This charming bracelet is of Japanese origin and from ca1950's. Representing the Seven Gods of Good Fortune of Japanese mythology, it is comprised of 7 individual porcelain male and female Japanese faces that are prong-set in a sterling silver setting. Each face is unique and has charming hand painted faces with details that represent each of the Seven Lucky Gods. Each porcelain piece is connected to the next by 2 silver link chains. The piece comes together at the back with a rectangular, silver clasp that has a safety chain for added security. The underside of the bracelet is stamped “MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN” and “SILVER”. This gorgeous bracelet would make any collection complete!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7" long and each face measures around 3/4" wide and tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the painted porcelain faces or to the silver. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
