Vintage American Indian Large S/S Inlaid Turquoise Earrings
Fabulous vintage American Indian pawn sterling and turquoise earrings from the 1940-50's! Each earring is particularly large in size and has a striking appearance when worn. Made of sterling silver, the earrings begin with an inlaid turquoise cluster topper which attaches to a modern earring wire. Hanging from the cluster surmount are 3 free swinging silver hoops that carry the same inlaid turquoise motif. There is a beautiful natural patina on surface of silver which compliments the rich color of the turquoise stones wonderfully. Originally screwbacks, the earrings have been converted to wires; this is evident on the back of each earring. The earrings are fun and easy to wear and would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 7/8" long, are 7/8" at the widest point and have a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface were, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver or turquoise and the wires are secure and in good working condition.
