Retro Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 2.25ct

An absolutely gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! Made of platinum, the ring has a beautiful yet simple design with a sparkling old European Cut diamond prong set at the center. The diamond, which weighs approximately 2.25ct., has M color and VS2clarity. Framing the center stone are two Baguette diamonds set at either shoulder. The baguettes weigh approximately 0.15ct with H-I range color and SI range clarity. The platinum band is smooth on all sides, and an attractive airline at the top completes the lovely design. The shank is stamped "10%IRID". The ring was appraised in February 2015 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $20,000.00. A stunning and elegant piece, it would make a perfect engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring currently has a finger size 5.75 but could easily be re-sized if desired. When worn, the ring rests approximately 1/4" above the finger.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
