A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and set at the center is a single sparkling old Mine Cut diamond. The stone has L color and SI2 clarity and weighs approximately 1.05ct and it is prong set in an octagonal shaped center with a surrounding open channel. Six additional diamonds rest on the shoulder of the ring. The filigree and milgrained detail on the ring is remarkably beautiful, with lovely engraving framing the diamond and a romantic heart design on the sides. The shank is stamped "10% IRID PLAT". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in September 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $9,000.00. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.75 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum mounting and all of the diamonds are intact.
