An absolutely stunning diamond engagement ring from the early Art Deco (ca1910) era! The center diamond stone, which is an old European Cut, has a total weight of 1.22ct tw and is set in a beautiful and ornate filigree platinum setting. The color of the stone is K and has a clarity of VS2. The diamond is bezel set in a platinum setting and sits atop a delicate mounting with feminine wirework with milgrained details. Also set within the beautiful mounting are 60 additional Single Cut sparkling diamonds which add to the rich detail of the ring. These diamonds are all approximately .5pt each. The ring was appraised by an independent Gemologist in December 2010 and has a retail replacement value of $9800. It is an absolutely gorgeous ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits a little more than 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum or to the diamond stone. All of the diamonds within the mounting are intact.
