Edwardian Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.27ct
An absolutely exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This gorgeous piece has a platinum setting and set in the center is a single old European cut diamond. The diamond has a total weight of 1.27ct with M color and VS2 clarity. It's set in a 4 prong setting and rests high above the finger. Covering the mounting and running along each shoulder are 6 Single Cut diamonds which accent the ring beautifully. The smaller stones set within the mounting have a total weight of .05ct tw, H-I color and VS range clarity. The mounting adorns beautiful and delicate etched detail throughout. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited Gemologist in January 2012 and has a stated replacement value of $8,600.00. It is an absolutely magnificent diamond and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a large size 6.75 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
