A stunning diamond and emerald ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and has a stunning Fancy Cut diamond bezel set in its center. The diamond has a very unusual and fabulous cut which most closely resembles an old Holland Rose Cut with a faceted back. It weighs approximately 1.20ctw with G-H color and VS2 clarity. The center diamond is set amidst a luscious border of 19 calibrated channel set emeralds. Four additional diamonds carry along the shoulders of the ring and a swirled wirework design can be found on the underside of the mounting. Milgrained detailing can be found throughout the fabulous and unusual design of the ring, which looks absolutely beautiful on. The ring comes with an appraisal from an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist. It's a gorgeous ring and would look perfect worn everyday or could make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The oval shaped face of the ring measures about 1/2" tall and a little more than 3/8" wide. The ring has a finger size 7.25 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the emeralds and diamonds are intact.
