An absolutely gorgeous chalcedony bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning bracelet is made of sterling silver and features 9 large chalcedony stones which wrap around the entire length of the piece. Each stone is prong set within the bracelet which is straight, but flexible and hinged at each link. The chalcedony stones have a magnificent periwinkle blue color and the facets catch the light beautifully, making the whole bracelet sparkle. Sterling and marcasite spacers rest between each blue links, completing the design perfectly. The bracelet opens and closes at a hidden push clasp which is incorporated into the design of the bracelet. The tongue of the clasp is stamped "STERLING" along with another mark (which is illegible) and there is a safety chain for added security. It's a fabulous piece and would make a beautiful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7.25" long, 1/2" wide and approximately 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the chalcedony stones and all of the marcasites are intact. The push clasp and safety chains are secure and in good working condition.
