A fantastic and unusual diamond and aquamarine charm/pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This wonderful piece portrays a small charm pendant that is in the shape of a purse. The purse is encrusted with rubies, sapphires and diamonds and a single aquamarine is set in the center. Made of platinum, the charm/pendant has a smooth purse strap and a 'snap' opening at top. The purse is wonderfully detailed with Single Cut diamonds lining its entire body and a fancy cut diamond at the top. Calibrated rubies and sapphires border the vibrant faceted aqua that is set in the center. The purse strap act as the bail however we could easily add a small jump ring if desired. The piece would look perfect as an addition to a charm bracelet or worn as a small pendant around your neck. It's a lovely charm and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The charm/pendant hangs a little longer than 5/8" long, is a little less than 1/4" and is 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds, rubies, sapphires and the aquamarine are intact.
