Art Deco 10kt & Silver, Sodalite, Crystal & Pearl Earrings
A very unique pair of handmade earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Each earring is made of 10kt yellow gold and forms an open wirework top with an elongated cage-like design. Dangling below is a beautiful ball link made of sodalite, which is split in the middle with a faceted rock quartz crystal rondelle disc resting in between. The sodalite has a polished finish and a marvelous ensemble of marbled colors, including hues of blue, grey, and green. Resting at the top of each sodalite ball is a single white pearl, which has a wonderful luster and adds a feminine touch to the design. The earrings hang from simple yellow gold earring wires, which are adorned with a decorative silver accent at the base. These stunning earrings are in beautiful condition and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 3/8" long and measures approximately 1/2" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sodalite, crystals or pearls. The gold setting is in good condition and the earring wires are secure and intact.
