Fabulous jade earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Each of these earrings is comprised of a single diamond topper which is set within a 18kt white gold floral frame, resting at the base of the gold earring wire. Hanging from the diamond surmount is a strand of 8 natural seed pearls, which is strung on platinum wire, and dangling from the bottom is a hand carved jade plaque. The jade has stunning vivid green color and a lovely floral carving and each is topped with an ornate sterling cap. These wonderful earrings are elegant enough for evening wear or perfect for the daytime.
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/2" long. The jade stones measure approximately 3/8" at the widest point, are 3/4" in length and slightly more than 1/8" in depth.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metals setting or to the jade and all of the diamond and pearls are intact.
