Absolutely exquisite diamond earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! These gorgeous earrings are made of platinum topped 14kt gold and depict a unique arrow-like design. Each earring begins with 3-diamond topper which connects to a clasped earring post. The largest, top diamond weighs approximately .16ct and is prong set in a buttercup setting. Just below it are 2 bezel set diamonds that have a total weight of .14ctw. Dangling from the 3-stone topper is a triangular link which adorns a cutout design with milgrained detailing. The bottom edges of each triangle are encrusted 22 sparkling diamonds which complete the earrings perfectly. The overall approximate diamond weight of the earrings is 1.40ct tw. The earring post backs are both stamped “14K”. The earrings are absolutely stunning and would be fabulous for a special occasion!
Measurements: Each earring measures 1 1/2" tall but hangs 1 1/4" long from the ear. They are a little less than 7/8" at the widest point, and has a depth of 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum topped gold setting and all of the diamonds are intact. The post backs are secure and in good working condition.
