Art Deco Sterling, Jade & Tourmaline Chinese Lantern Earrings

SKU: MEC34689

A wonderful pair of Chinese lantern earrings from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! These fabulous and unusual earrings are made of sterling silver and have a lovely lantern design that reflects their Chinese origin. Each earring hangs from an ornate sterling topper that is shaped like the face of a dragon and the lanterns themselves have a wire mesh appearance that is decorated with several large Chinese character symbols. At the base of each lantern are several dangling stones, including 4 pieces of jade and a larger tourmaline stone hanging in the center. The earrings hang from simple earring wires and have a very artistic look. They would make a unique addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The earrings hang 3" long, and are approximately 5/8" across on each side.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver earring lanterns or toppers and the wires and stones are all intact.
