Late Art Deco Platinum Diamond Cluster Earrings 4.20ctw
Absolutely exquisite diamond earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! These gorgeous earrings are made of platinum and adorn a large stacked cluster design which has a flower-like appearance. Each earring has a single diamond that rests in the center of a border of two rows of sparkling diamonds. The diamonds are old Mine Cut stones and bezel set in a milgrained setting. The earrings hang from 3 additional diamonds that attach to a clasped earring wire. The hanging diamonds are bezel set and old Mine cuts, weighing approximately .42ct. The center stone of each earrings weighs approximately .38ct and the surrounding diamonds have an overall total diamond weight of 1.30ct tw. The total approximate diamond weight for both earrings is 4.20ct tw. They are beautifully made and simply a work of art. The earrings are absolutely stunning and would be fabulous for a special collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 5/8" long, is 3/4" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact. The clasped earrings wires are secure and in good working condition.
