A fantastic and unusual Czechoslovakian brass and glass necklace from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Made of brass, the chain of the necklace consists of a pattern of alternating round, oval, and cylindrical faux carnelian glass beads. At the center of the piece is a u-shaped glass link that has 12 strands of smaller glass beads that end with a long cylindrical bead. The strands vary in length with the two longest strands resting in the center of the necklace. The necklace clasps in the back at a simple spring clasp. The Czech glass has vibrant orangey red color which was made to replicate carnelian. With a fabulous yet unusual design, this lovely necklace would make a perfect addition to any collection!

Measurements: The entire length of the necklace 17.25". The largest circular carnelian bead has a diameter of 7.5mm, while the smaller ones have a diameter of 4mm. The oval links measure 1/2" long and 1/4" wide. The cylindrical beads measure 1/2" long and 1/8" thick. The center strand of beads measures 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" long.

Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or chips to any of the glass beads or to the brass setting and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
