Art Deco 18kt Enameled Cross w/ Diamond Pendant
A lovely and unusual enamel cross pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This exceptional piece is fairly large in size and made of 18kt yellow gold. The pendant, which portrays the shape of a cross, has a surface covered in vibrant red and black enameling. In the center, is a .20ct old European Cut diamond which is bezel set. The cross has rounded points and 3-dimensional convex arms. The bail is 14kt gold and has a single old Rose Cut diamond set within it. The back of the cross is stamped "18ct". It's a simply magnificent and unusual piece from the Art Deco era that would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The cross pendant measures approximately 1 3/4" tall, 1 1/8" wide and is slightly less than 1/4" thick. The bail attached to the top is 3/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold or enameling and the diamond is intact.
