Art Deco Platinum & 14kt Diamond & Ruby Pointer Dog Pin
A very charming platinum dog pin from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! A gorgeous diamond horse pin from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of platinum topped 14kt yellow gold, this wonderful piece portrays the shape of a pointer dog. Traditionally used to catch birds or rabbits, the dog is in mid-trot with a bent front paw and a straight, pointed tail. The entire body is encrusted with sparkling diamonds and a single vibrant ruby represents its eye. A gold bar pin rests across the back of the piece, with a hinged locking feature to keep it securely in place. This lovely pin has a wonderful look and would be perfect for any dog lover!
Measurements: The pin measures 1 1/8" long and 3/8" at its widest part.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum, and all of the stones are intact. The bar pin is secure and in good working condition.
