Art Deco 14kt Mixed Metals Aquamarine Filigree Ring
A beautiful aquamarine ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Simply stunning, this mixed metals ring is made of 14kt white and yellow gold and displays a rectangular-shaped aquamarine center. The aqua, which is bezel set within a gorgeous filigree mounting, has a faceted front and back and displays a wonderful clear, blue color. The engraved setting bordering the stone is topped with yellow gold, while the sides of the mounting are made of white gold. A lovely, feminine floral design can be found on either shoulder, which extends to an engraved wheat design that travels down the sides of the band. The shank of the ring is stamped "14K", along with the letter "M" and additional letters that are no longer visible due to normal wear. A graceful and artistic piece, it looks beautiful when worn and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size 4.75 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the aquamarine stone, which is intact.
