Art Deco 14kt Rock Quartz Crystal Onyx & Diamond Ring
A stunning rock quartz ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of 14kt white gold, the ring has a very striking design featuring a wonderful trio of materials that together create a bold look. An oval shaped piece of rock quartz crystal sits in the center of a carved black onyx frame. Resting in the center of the rock quartz is a single diamond, riveted in the middle atop a black onyx border. The rock quartz crystal has been carved with a vertical ridged design, adding an interesting texture and the black onyx frame is held within a 4-prong setting. Delicate milgrained detail and exceptional filigree work on the sides of the mounting complete the gorgeous Deco design. The band displays a subtle engraved design on each shoulder, and the inside of the shank is stamped "14K". It's a fabulous ring with a bold Art Deco look that would compliment any ensemble and jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5 but could be easily re-sized. The rectangular center measures 5/8" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the rock quartz crystal and black onyx. The diamond stone is intact and in good condition.
