Art Deco 14kt White Gold Chrysoprase & Diamond Ring
A beautiful chrysoprase ring from the Art Deco period (ca1920)! Made of 14kt white gold, this wonderful piece features a rectangular shaped chrysoprase plaque, which holds single diamond set in the center. The chrysoprase displays a gorgeous vivid green color and has a smoothly polished front surface with a semi translucent quality. The diamond is set within a diamond-shaped box setting and is riveted into the center of the plaque. At either shoulder of the ring is an exceptional hand-engraved design with a scrolled, flowing pattern. Decorative prongs hold the chrysoprase plaque in place on each side and the inside of the band is stamped "14K" along with a small maker's mark. This lovely and unusual ring has a wonderful Art Deco look and it would make a very special addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 4 but could be easily re-sized. The center of the ring measures approximately 7/8" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to the chrysoprase plaque and the diamond is intact.
