A simply beautiful amethyst ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of 14kt white gold, this fabulous piece has a large, faceted, rectangular amethyst stone set in its center. The amethyst is prong set and has vibrant, beautiful color and at the center is a single, prong set diamond. The diamond is set within a milgrained hexagonal frame which is detailed with a fine curled wirework border at the top and bottom, added stunning detail to the already beautiful piece. The stone is surrounded by a fine engraved frame and the mounting of the ring is wonderfully detailed with fine ornate filigree wirework. The inside shank of the ring is stamped "14K" and "PSCo". This fabulous Art Deco ring would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The rings rectangular shaped amethyst measures 1/2" at its widest point, 5/8" at the tallest point and has a depth of 1/4". It has a finger size 4.75 but could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the amethyst stone and the diamond is intact.
