Art Deco 18kt Sapphire Ring 1.86ct center
An absolutely gorgeous sapphire ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning piece is made of 18kt white gold and holds a beautiful Cushion Cut sapphire stone at the center. The sapphire rests within a 4-prong setting and weighs approximately 1.86ct. Resting at the shoulders of the ring are two Baguette Cut synthetic sapphires, which are bezel set and have a total weight of approximately 0.12ctw. The vibrant blue hue of the sapphire stones is simply mesmerizing! Beautiful antique engraving and delicate milligrain detail decorates the shoulders of the ring, and a cutout filigree pattern on the sides of the mounting completes the design perfectly. The inside of the shank is stamped "18K". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Gemologist in April 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,200.00. It's absolutely breathtaking when worn and would make beautiful everyday piece or a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting and all of the sapphire stones are intact.
