Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Step-Up Engagement Ring 0.52ct
A simply gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this beautiful ring has a "step-up" style mounting with three graduated rows of diamonds on each shoulder and a gorgeous old European Cut diamond in the center. The center diamond, which is set within a square box prong setting, weighs approximately 0.52ct with J color and SI2 clarity. The twelve bead set diamonds that rest on the shoulders have H-I color range, VS clarity range and a total weight of approximately 0.15ct. The side of the mounting displays a beautiful airline design with delicate engraving and milgrained detail. Stamped inside of the ring is "10%IRID. PLATINUM." The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in November 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $4,000.00. It's a delicate and feminine piece that looks enchanting when worn, and it would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.5 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
