Late Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 0.66ct
A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This lovely piece is made of platinum and at the center is an old European Cut, which has a total weight of 0.66ct. The color of the stone is J and the clarity is VS2. The diamond is set in a prong setting and resting on the shoulders are 2 additional Round Cut diamonds. These diamonds are prong set with H-I color range and VS clarity range. The inside of the ring appeared to be stamped "PLAT". The ring was appraised by an accredited, independent Gemologist in February 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,000.00. It is an absolutely magnificent diamond and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size of a small size 7.5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
