A wonderful and unusual pair of jade cufflinks from the the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum-topped 18kt white gold, these beautiful double-sided cufflinks have a striking design. Resting in the center of each cufflink is a round jade plaque, which is flat with a delicate hand-carved surface. Each carved image has a lovely swirled floral-inspired motif. The jade has magnificent coloring, with a beautiful vivid green hue. Surrounding each jade plaque is a black enamel border decorated with 6 sparkling diamonds set in platinum. The cufflinks connect together with a strand of white gold chain, and the back of each is stamped with a small hallmark. A very unique and attractive pair of cufflinks, they would look wonderful worn by a man or woman and are perfect for any jade collector!
Measurements: Each circular link has a diameter of 1/2" and is 1/16" thick. The space in between each cufflink measures 3/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold and platinum setting or enamel work. The jade plaques and diamonds are intact and in good condition, and the chain connecting each link is secure.
