An absolutely gorgeous diamond and sapphire engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful ring is made of 18kt white gold and features a stunning old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set in a square-shaped setting and has H color, VS2 clarity, and a weight of approximately 0.55ct. Set on each shoulder of the ring is a tapered cut synthetic sapphire. The sapphires have beautiful brilliant blue color and compliment the diamond perfectly. Surrounding the stones is a gorgeous filigree mounting and delicate milgrained detail. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in October 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,800. A stunning piece, it looks enchanting when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8.25 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the diamond or sapphire stones, all of which are intact.
