A lovely Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and emerald engagement ring! This beautiful piece, which is made of platinum, has a prong set diamond that rests in the center of a box setting. The diamond has a total weight of 2.06ctw, L color, and VS clarity. Surrounding the diamond, set on all 4 sides of the mounting, is a trillion cut emerald, for a total of 4 stones. Six additional old European diamonds carry down the shoulders of the ring, having a total weight of 0.16ctw. Filigree wirework and milgrained detailing makes the mounting of this ring absolutely fabulous! The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent GIA certified Gemologist in December 2013 and has a stated retail replacement value of $21,800.00. It is an exquisite ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum, diamond or to the emerald stones, all of which are intact.
