A beautiful sterling and crystal bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The bangle bracelet, which is hinged, is made of sterling silver and comprised of 23 channel set blue crystals. The crystals are French cut and fairly large in size and display a gorgeous blue color that closely resembles sapphires. The stones are faceted on both sides, catching the light beautifully and a fine etched design can be found on both sides of the sterling frame. The bracelet opens at a push clasp and the interior is stamped "STERLING". It's a wonderful piece that would make a marvelous, colorful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where your wrist would rest) measures 2 1/2" wide and 1 7/8" tall. Each crystal measures a little more than 1/4" tall and wide and the bracelet is 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting and the push clasp opens easily and fastens securely. There are 2 small chips in 2 of the sapphire crystals, however, they're hardly noticable when the bracelet is worn and don't detract from the beauty of the piece.
