Art Deco Sterling & Moonstone Starburst Pendant

SKU: 34485

A simply beautiful starburst pendant from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! This lovely piece is made of sterling silver and displays a gorgeous 7-point starburst design. The entire front surface of the starburst is comprised of 15 moonstone cabochons, with the largest resting in the center. The moonstones have an alluring pale blue color with translucent flashes, and all are prong set within an open backed setting. At the top of the pendant is a fluted sterling bail, which is perfect for hanging from a fine chain. It appears that the pendant used to have a gilded finish which adds richness and depth to the color of the piece. It's a gorgeous starburst design and would make a stunning addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2 1/8" long, is 1 5/8" wide, and is slightly convex, measuring 1/5" at its thickest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting and all of the moonstones are intact. The bail is intact and in good working condition.
