A fabulous coral and onyx necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This wonderful piece has a very Art Deco look and is comprised of black onyx, crystal, and coral all set in sterling silver. A total of 21 rectangular shaped links of faceted crystal and onyx alternate to create the necklace, which fastens together with a push clasp hidden within one of the links. At the center is a geometric link which has fence-like rows of crystal and onyx that surround 3 coral stones. The coral has a smooth, polished surface and a vibrant color that stands out dramatically. Together, the black, clear, and coral colors combine to create a very bold and attractive look that is just as fashion forward today as it was in the 1920's. A wonderful piece, it looks fantastic when worn and would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16.5" long and is 3/16" thick. The triangular link at the center measures 1 3/8" tall and 1 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the onyx, crystal and coral stones.
