An exquisite aquamarine ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930's) era! This beautiful ring is made of 18kt white gold and features a large, rectangular-shaped aquamarine stone in the center which weighs approximately 6ct. The aqua, which is prong-set within a delicate filigree mounting, has a gorgeous clear, blue color. The filigree wirework along the mounting is exceptional, and a lovely engraved design travels down along the shoulders of the mounting. The underside of the band is partially stamped with what appears to have been an engraved name. A truly spectacular piece, this feminine ring looks fantastic when worn and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5 but could be easily resized. The aqua stone measures approximately 1/2" tall and 3/8" wide. When worn, the ring rests approximately 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to the aquamarine stone.
