Late Art Deco Sterling Citrine Cross Pendant
A lovely citrine cross pendant from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful piece is fairly large in size and adorns 6 open back citrine stones which are set in an ornate sterling silver setting. Each stone is bezel set and all are round in shape except for the center, which is heart shaped. Fine sterling beadwork frames the cross and feminine scrolled wirework can be found in the four corners of the cross. The pendant hangs from a simple sterling bail, allowing it to be hung from a complimentary chain. A very special piece, this lovely pendant looks wonderful when worn and would make a marvelous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The cross hangs 1 7/8" long, is approximately 1 1/8" at its widest and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the citrine stones, all of which are intact.
