A lovely gold and banded agate bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is set in 15kt yellow gold (indicating English origin) and has a simple and beautiful design. The bracelet is comprised of eight banded agate links, each held within an oval-shaped gold bezel with an open back. In between each polished agate link is a gold connector at the top and bottom, linking the stones together to form a flexible bracelet. The gorgeous earth tones of black, brown and white set in the yellow gold make this a spectacular accessory! Hidden seamlessly within one of the links is a push clasp with a small maker's mark stamped on the tongue. An added safety chain provides extra security. This beautiful bracelet could be worn everyday and has a stunning Victorian design. It would make a versatile addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurement: The bracelet measures 7" long. The banded agate links vary in size, with the smallest measuring 5/8" wide, 1/2" tall, and 1/4" thick. The largest link measures 3/4" wide, 5/8" tall, and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or agate stones, all of which are intact. The clasp is snug, secure, and in good working condition, and the safety chain is intact.
