Art Deco Sterling & Crystal "Emerald" Bangle Bracelet
A beautiful sterling and crystal bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The bangle bracelet, which is hinged, is made of sterling silver and is comprised of 30 faceted crystals within a channel setting. The crystals are square cut and fairly large in size, and alternate between clear and vivid emerald green colors. A fine etched design with a beautiful floral motif can be found on both sides of the sterling frame. The interior displays an attractive chevron cutout pattern, along with the stamp "STERLING". The bracelet opens at a push clasp on the side, which also has a silver safety chain for added security. It's a wonderful everyday piece that would look fabulous on its own or stacked with other complimentary bangles. It would make a marvelous, colorful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where your wrist would rest) measures 2 3/8" wide and 2" tall. The surface of the bracelet measures 1/4" wide and is approximately 3/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or to any of the crystals, all of which are intact. The push clasp opens easily and fastens securely, and the safety chain is in good working condition.
