Late Art Deco Sterling Silver & Faux Ruby Line Bracelet
A simply stunning crystal line bracelet from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This gorgeous line bracelet features 40 sparkling step cut "rubies" which are set in sterling silver and wrap around the entire length of the piece. Each faux stone is represented by a vibrant red crystal which has a wonderful fiery color. They're channel set within the bracelet which is straight, but flexible. Fine milgrained detail runs along the edges of the bracelet and an engraved wheat design can be seen from each side. The bracelet has a block catch and a fold over safety catch on it for added security. The underside of the clasp is marked "STERLING" and "DIAMONDBAR". It's a stunning piece that would look beautiful worn by itself or grouped with other line bracelets. Although the stones are faux rubies, they look just as stunning as the real thing!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7" long, a little less than 1/4" wide and a little more than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. The clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is no apparent damage to the sterling setting and all of the red crystal stones are intact. There are some minor surface chips in the faux rubies, however none are noticeable when the bracelet is worn.
