A lovely and unusual Art Deco (ca1920) diamond and ruby engagement ring! This beautiful piece has a single diamond stone that rests in the center of a very ornate mounting. The diamond, which is an old Mine Cut, has an approximate total weight of 0.22ct w and is set in the lovely 18kt white gold setting. The color of the stone is I and the clarity is SI2. The diamond is prong set and sits atop a delicate mounting with fine engraved details carrying along the sides and shoulders of the ring. Set on each shoulder of the diamond is a French Cut ruby which compliment the center beautifully. The unusual design is simply wonderful and the ring looks striking on. The ring comes with an appraisal by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, diamond or to the ruby stones, which are intact.
