Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring 0.86ct
An absolutely gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! The center stone, which is an old European Cut diamond, has a total weight of 0.68ct and is set in a beautiful handmade platinum setting. The stone is prong set and has I color and SI1 clarity. Accenting the shoulders of the mounting are 10 beautiful Rose cut diamonds, which have H-J range color, VS-SI range clarity, and weigh approximately 0.25ctw. Along the sides of the mounting are beautiful swirled filigree details, which add a lovely feminine touch to the delicate design. The inside of the shank is stamped "PLAT". The ring was appraised in May 2014 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist, and has a stated retail replacement value of $2,500.00. The ring looks simply stunning when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a large finger size 8.5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or diamonds, all of which are intact.
