Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Step-Up Engagement Ring 1ctw
An absolutely breathtaking diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Made of platinum, this gorgeous ring has a "step-up" style mounting with three rows of diamonds on each shoulder and a gorgeous old European Cut diamond in the center. The center diamond is prong set and weighs approximately 1.00ct with K color and VS2 clarity. Resting on the "steps" of each shoulder of the ring are ten bead set diamonds, which accent the center stone perfectly. The side of the mounting displays a beautiful filigree wirework design and the outside of the band is enhanced with lovely antique engraving. The ring comes with an appraisal by an independent and accredited GIA certified gemologist. It's a stunning piece that looks dazzling when worn and would make a wonderful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
