Georgian French 18kt Holland Cut Diamond Ring 0.60ct
An absolutely outstanding French diamond cluster ring from the Georgian (ca1750) era! This breathtaking piece is made of 18kt yellow gold topped in sterling silver and features a gorgeous cluster of diamonds with a lovely flower-like design. All of the diamonds are Holland Cuts, which are fancy cut old Rose Cut stones, and look incredible together. Resting at the center of the ring is a 0.60ct Holland Cut diamond, which is surrounded by 10 sparkling diamonds that form the "petals." Two delicate diamonds at either shoulder of the ring complete the lovely design. The yellow gold band is beautifully detailed with antique engraving that goes all the way around the outer surface and small French hallmarks can be found on the outside of the band at the back. Georgian jewelry is very rare and this particular piece is in wonderful condition. Both feminine and beautiful, it would make a spectacular addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.75 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling setting and all of the diamond stones are intact.
