Art Deco 14kt Carved Carnelian & Seed Pearl Earrings
A simply gorgeous pair of carnelian earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! These exquisite earrings are made of hand carved carnelian and have an attractive flat floral design. The translucent carnelian stones have rich, beautiful color with vibrant orange hues and small flecks of natural cherry red inclusions. The hand carved design has an open circle in the center with small cutout shapes surrounding it. Each earring has a dramatic drop design that hangs from a column of delicate natural seed pearls which attach to 14kt yellow gold wire. The earrings hang from simple 14k gold clasped earring wires. Feminine and incredibly beautiful, they look stunning when worn and would make a gorgeous addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 2 1/4" long, are approximately 1 1/8" across at the widest point and have a depth of 3/16".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or chips in the carnelian. The seed pearls are all intact and the gold earring wires are in good working condition.
