Fabulous faceted citrine earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Each earring features 2 gorgeous citrine stones that hang from 14kt yellow gold wires. The top stone, which is riveted to the surmount, is round in shape and completely covered in small facets. The bottom citrine stone is significantly larger in size and tear drop in shape. It is covered in larger facets on both sides of the stone. The tear drop citrine connects to the surmount by a thin gold chain which connects right below the round stone. These wonderful earrings have a simple design yet are elegant enough for evening wear or perfect for the daytime.
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/8" long. The top round stone has an approximate diameter of 3/8". The bottom tear drop stone measures approximately 5/8" at the widest point and slightly less than 1" in length.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is minor surface wear to the citrines and a small chip at the bottom of one of the tear drop stones. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, chain or wires.
