Exquisite gold and turquoise enameled earrings from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! With an unusual design, each earring is made of 15kt yellow gold and has brilliant enameled accents. They begin with a round surmount which rests at the bottom of a modern earring wire. The round link has a bright turquoise colored enameled surface and a gold etch flower-like shape in the center. Dangling from the surmount is a flat, arrow shaped link that has a cutout center. The link, which is made of gold, has a small, free swinging urn link that hangs from a horizontal gold bar and fits perfectly in the center. The urn shaped vessel also has a turquoise enameled surface and a scorolled etched design within it. The earrings are beautifully made and very light and comfortable to wear. They have a wonderful design and are certainly one of the most gorgeous pairs of Victorian earrings that I've seen!
Measurements: Each earring hangs a little less than 2 1/8" long, measures a little more than 1/2" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold, to the blue enameling or to the earring wires.
