A beautiful pair of earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, the lovely earrings have a detailed design on the front surface, each featuring angular diamond shapes with cutouts in the middle and rose gold accents for a subtle mixed metals design. A sparkling diamond rests in the middle of the design within an open backed bezel setting and an additional diamond surrounded by a gold halo forms the topper. The earrings hang from simple clasped earring wires and are wonderfully lightweight, making them very comfortable to wear. The back of each earring is stamped on the side with a small maker's mark. Delicate and beautiful, they display wonderful artistry and would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 3/8" long, are approximately 3/8" wide and 1/16" thick.
Conditions: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or diamonds, all of which are intact. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
