A fantastic and unusual pair of gold and pearl earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, these wonderful earrings have an ornate and charming design. Each begins with a single pearl topper which rests at the base of a simple earring post. Dangling from the surmount is a detailed basket link that has a wonderful 3-dimensional design. Sitting atop the weaved basket are 3 small pearls and in between the twisted wire handle are 2 decorative leaves and 2 gold flowers. The handmade design makes the earrings wonderfully lightweight and comfortable. Fun and versatile, they would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/2" long, and are 1/2" wide and thick.
Condition: Overall, the earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or pearls and the earring posts are in good working condition.
