Edwardian Platinum Diamond & Ruby Bracelet 16ctw
An absolutely stunning diamond and ruby encrusted bracelet from the Edwardian (ca1915) era! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and features 3 rows of sparkling diamonds and vibrant rubies. The bracelet holds a total of 122 old Mine Cut diamonds, with an estimated total weight of 16ctw, with the top and bottom rows of diamonds being bezel set. The middle row has a pattern of alternating diamonds interspersed with 13 luscious French cut rubies. The center row features diamonds held in box settings and round bezels, creating an eye-catching variety of shapes. The clasp is hidden within one of the links and the underside is stamped with a small hallmark. Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 6 3/4" long, is 1/2" at its widest point and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and all of the diamonds and rubies are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
