A beautiful pair of sapphire and diamond cufflinks from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Each double-sided cufflink is made of platinum topped 14kt yellow gold and is rectangular in shape. An intricate filigree wirework design with a floral motif decorates the face of each cufflink, complete with engraved leaves and delicate milgrained detail. In the center of each face is a faceted sapphire stone on one side and a sparkling diamond on the other. All four stones are held within platinum diamond-shaped box settings. The underside of each cufflink displays the yellow gold base and a simple bar link connects each side together. Both bars are stamped "PLON14K". A classic pair of Edwardian cufflinks, they would look fabulous worn by either a man or woman!
Measurements: Each rectangular cufflink face measures 5/8" tall, is slightly less than 1/2" wide and less than 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum topped gold setting or to the sapphires and diamonds, all of which are intact.
