Edwardian Platinum, Zircon & Diamond Wing Necklace 3ct
A lovely and delicate necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful piece is made of platinum and has an attractive winged design. The wings are adorned with 6 sparkling white diamonds in a bead setting, which are surrounded by delicate milgrained detail. Dangling freely from the bottom of the pendant is a gorgeous natural blue zircon. The zircon, which is held within a 6-prong setting, weighs approximately 3ct and displays a mesmerizing vivid blue color. The pendant hangs from a delicate 14kt white gold cable chain which attaches to the top of each wing and fastens together in the back at a simple clasp stamped "14K". The chain can be worn slightly shorter or longer depending on where it is fastened. A delicate and feminine piece, this beautiful necklace would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The chain measures 17" but can also be worn at a 16" length. The pendant hangs approximately 1" long, is 7/8" wide and 1/4” at its thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and the diamonds and zircon stone are all intact. The chain is in good condition and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
